On the Dangers of Texting & Driving

Intuitively, most drivers understand that even the slightest distraction while driving can end in a tragic accident – yet the current epidemic of accidents caused by people who text while driving is a growing problem that is no longer isolated to teen drivers. People continue to text and drive even though they know that it is dangerous and against the law.

In today’s world of instant communication, we understand how tempting it is for drivers to respond to text messages right away. This is why at Ambitious Drivers we instill the ethics of social responsibility and careful driving into all our students, especially in the younger generation of drivers. We drive home to them the very real dangers and consequences of texting and driving and we encourage all our students to put down their phones while they are on the road.

At the end of the day we hammer in this simple message: “There is no text worth dying for.” Our Ambitious Drivers awareness campaign is focused on educating future drivers on the risks of texting while driving. We inform them that texting while driving makes them around 25 times more likely to get involved in a car crash. With our efforts and continuous awareness campaigns, we hope to save lives and encourage responsible driving.

At Ambitious Drivers our professional instructors are committed to improving the fundamental skills of the everyday driver. Contact us today to schedule your driving classes. (416) 293-6500
